My Story

My ongoing growing portfolio “Photographs From Around Our World” is a compilation of my travels, which to date includes visits to over 40 countries. I have traveled around the world, to the top of the world, and to Timbuktu and back, to tell the stories of people around our world through the magic of photography.

I use photography as a means to tell the stories of those from differing cultures in order to build universal appreciation and respect for our world’s cultural richness and diversity while emphasizing human similarities to drive home the idea that “people are people”. We may do things differently, but we are all part of the human experience.

I am an international professional photographer based in Washington DC and primarily serve the greater DMV region. I also travel to places, such as Chicago, New York City, Berlin and the Caribbean, for on location shoots.

I have been photographing events professionally since 2006. I have experience in shooting group, family and children’s portraits; covering small intimate gatherings to large national conventions; working with musicians and music festivals and documenting informal and formal weddings.

My Clients

My clients choose me because my work is about the essence of my subjects. Each photo is personal and will evoke an emotion, generate a unique thought or uncover something new when viewed. I accomplish this by capturing WHO you are, not WHAT you are.

My clients are interested in having fun and being comfortable during their shoot. They appreciate photography as an art form and are interested in having who they are shine through. I work with clients who want the best photo possible that captures who they are.
